Park Tysiąclecia is situated on 11 ha in a valley between two residential estates (Oświecenia and Tysiąclecia), intended as a leisure destination for employees of the steelworks and their families. It has two sports pitches, playgrounds, tables for board games and table tennis, and a sleighing hill. In its centre is an amphitheatre that occasionally hosts artistic events. The Church of St Maximilian Kolbe in its northern section was consecrated by Pope John Paul II in 1983.
