Motherhood sculp is an exceptional sculpture that has stood among the concrete blocks of Osiedle Piastów since the 1970s. Its author remains anonymous, but it was likely someone working on the construction of the estate.
The large concrete figure of a nude woman with child on her lap, with characteristic features somewhat reminiscent of the art of ancient Greece, has become a permanent part of the local landscape. Like other sculptures characteristic of the open spaces in Nowa Huta, it was renovated in 2017.
